Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As most of you know, my Dad Heinz, Leah's Opa (that's Grandpa in German), had been very ill for the last years and sadly passed away in November, only days after his 70th birthday and the second time he saw Leah. He suffered from a very rare but horrible degenerative brain disease called PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy).

PSP has no known cause, treatment or cure, and it is very rare or in fact undetected in so many cases.

The PSP Association has the mission to increase awareness of the disease, fund research toward a cure and prevention, educate healthcare professionals, and provide much needed support, information and hope for people and families that are affected.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Leah and I would like to thank everyone who kindly helps our cause by donating on this page:
