Nick and Simon are Raising Money for Forces Children's Trust
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are competing in the Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon in aid of the Forces Children's Trust. The trust was set up in 2004 after an ambush kiled two soldiers and seriously injured a third. One of the soldiers was father to a 2 year old son and a newly born baby. His new daughter never had the chance to meet her father.
"To help a child is an honour."
Please help dependant children that have lost a parent whilst serving with the Armed Forces by supporting the Forces Children's Trust.

The Event
The Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon is a two day event somewhere in the Scottish Highlands on the 6th & 7th Jun 09. The location is not known until closer to the event and consists of running over rugged terrain and Scotish peaks and Munros, carrying all of your gear and water. Day one will be about 30km & Day 2 around 25km (depending on our navigation skills). So we will be enduring distance, altitude, Scottish Mountain weather and swarms of midges all for a great cause. Please dig deep and help a Forces Child who's lost a Forces parent.
