Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team of twelve and five reserves, all associated with Forest School, are trying to break a world record as part of the Forest School Olympic legacy.

In short, we will try to cover the furthest recorded distance on one treadmill with a mixed team of twelve. The current record holders are a team from Germany who covered just over 422 km.

What does this mean? Basically, we have to sprint for 24hours!!

The causes:

We're raising money for two worthy causes: (50/50)

1. Essex Disabled Sports Foundation - a fantastic charity that provides sporting facilities and opportunities for disabled children.

2. Forest School Sports Scholarship - supporting a child to attend Forest School when they would not usually have the means to do so.

The team consists of:

Mr Adams - Teacher
Mr Foinette - Teacher
Miss Risk - Teacher
Miss Ramsay - Teacher
Mr Watson - Teacher
Mr Jackson - Teacher
Mr Arnold - Teacher
John Macnamara - Parent
Mark Clark - Parent
Noel Thatcher - Patron of Forest Prep School
Ian Baldwin - Student
Jack Skerrett - Student
Ian Baldwin - Student
Michael Seal - Student
Eammon Blackwell - Student
Eric Palmer - Fitness Instructor
Wayne Bishop - Leisure Centre Manager

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
