When leukaemia struck our family four years ago we could not think beyond the fear of losing our grandchild. This event, however, opened our eyes to a world which we barely knew it existed or at least, the extend of its existence. It is the world of Children cancer and particularly leukaemia.  It is a world of hope and despair all folded in one.  A world in which at the same time, you have to cope with happy stories and sad ones. Where you could look in the eye of a smiling child not knowing whether you will see him again or he becomes just another statistics.  

In this world we felt strongly that the only way we can make any change to any of these frail lives is by supporting research. It is the only hope they have to beat cancer.

Four years on, and our grandchild is in remission. He is a great boy and doing well. He might be one of the lucky ones. By the way, the ratio of those beating cancer is on the increase. It gives all of us a glimpse of hope.  But that is no reason to stop. We will continue and looking forward to your support.
