Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I will be running the Flora London Marathon 2007 in the hope of raising £1,500 for Meningitis Trust. The reason that I have chosen Meningitis Trust is because this terrible disease has affected my family deeply as we lost Joanne, my cousin, to meningitis at the age of 16.

So please dig deep and sponsor me online, no donation too small as every penny will really help.   Here is an indication of what work/research could be done with £1,500...

- buy 150,000 symptoms cards which could be handed out to parents
- pay for 100 hours of a nurse's time on the meningitis trust helpline
- fund 7 and a half days research into a new vaccine or treatment for meningitis
- go towards financial grants in the region of £25 to £2,000 to help someone rebuild  their life after meningitis. From a grant to pay for a specially adapted tricycle to increase mobility, or musical toys to stimulate a child's senses.
