Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

Not many people realise just how serious epilepsy and its effects can be. On the 20th March 2007 we tragically lost Simon Hearn. Simon suffered with epilepsy for several years, but little did we know that we would loose him because of it.

Simon was an amazing man with so much to give. He had a great passion for music and expressed this passion in a band that he formed with his brother Jon. They were set to release a single in May called 'A Place To Call Home'. Im memory of Simon and for the future of others- Jon has decided to release the single and any money made will go to an epilepsy charity.  Please show support for the band by visiting their myspace site at www.myspace.com/thebargains

This fundraising/ sponsor page is an ongoing project that Simon's family and friends are participating in to raise money. Any money made from events we carry out will be added but also any donations will be greatly received!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: National Society for Epilepsy will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
