Story
As the song goes, "At first I was afraid, I was petrified ....." and we were, but we did it and lived to tell the tale!
Extremely proud of ourselves, 7 of us jumped at 12,000 feet (yes, 2000 feet higher than expected), threw ourselves out with a mixture of excitement and fear (lots of fear actually!), free-fell for what felt like a lifetime to some of us and finally managed to enjoy the view before gracefully hitting the ground .... well trying to anyway!
So, many many thanks again to everyone who sponsored the Age Concern team and made it happen. If you would still ike to sponsor the team it is not too late!
Age Concern is a very well deserving charity which will use all money donated very wisely to help the elderly in our local community, some of whom do not have the luxury of family and/or friends to look to for support - time goes so quickly, we'll all be there sooner than you think!
