Unfortunately I have severly knackered my knee, at the moment I can hardly walk and have been advised to withdraw from the marathon. It was not an easy decision and I am absoloutely gutted to announce I am not going to do the Edinburgh marathon in 2009. I have been guaranteed a place in the race for 2010 which I will partake in. I am so sorry to let you all down and am going to all I can to work out how to get justgiving to sort it out properly. If you are happy with your donation still please let me know the half marathon time was 1hr. 37.
Deepest regrets

Titch has had it really tough the last few years and she's done it with a big smile on her face. She loves sailing and it has given her and people with a variety of illnesses a motivation and reason to keep going, which in times of need is the most important thing. At the moment she's out of hospital, getting herself busy and doing a bit of sailing when she wants too. Sport really can save lives and in her case I have seen it, please help me help people in the future who will need this in their hour of need. This is a charity which crosses illnessess and abilities, we can all relate, therefore it is a great cause.
