The End to End Cycle Race · 25 September 2009

Naomi and Jack's provide 24 hour care to more than 550 babies, children and young adults with complex medical needs, from across central southern England. We offer specialist short breaks, family support, bereavement support and end of life care in our hospice, in the community or at home.

Story

In 2009, Keith Carby, Chairman of Foster Denovo came up with the idea of inviting a group of like-minded executives from the financial services industry to take part in one of life’s great challenges - to cycle the length of Great Britain and to raise money for a worthy cause.

His goal will be achieved in early October, when around 20 industry leaders, under the ‘Moneyspinners’ banner, will complete a 10-day ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.   Amongst these riders are 3 members of Foster Denovo; Keith himself, Roger Brosch (CEO) and Tony Smith an IFA Partner.  Other participants include senior executives from Aegon, Royal London Group, LV, Abbey and Bluefin to name a few.

All team sponsorship raised through Moneyspinners will go towards Naomi House Children’s Hospice, providing respite care, terminal care and bereavement support for children and families from across the south of England. They provide care and support through good days, difficult days and last days to children, young people and their families from the counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. They’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

So please dig deep and donate now. The 3 Foster Denovo riders are targeting to raise £10,000 for this very worthy cause with a total target for the challenge of a staggering £1m.  Roger, Keith, Tony and the team behind Moneyspinners and Naomi House Children’s Hospice appreciate your support and every penny you are able to donate.
