Driving trip from the UK to South Africa!
We have changed our plans slightly and instead of travelling to Australia we are travelling through Africa to South Africa!
Who we are: We are Katie Ramsay and Alex Pegram and we have recently graduated from the University of Birmingham. We are both keen travellers and believe that driving across Africa offers us a great opportunity to raise a substantial amount of money for the British Red Cross. What we are doing: We are driving from the UK to South Africa; We intend to set-off from Brighton, East Sussex, England in January 2009. We will travel across as much land as possible and in our own vehicle. We will journey through part of Europe, (France and Italy) and then we will travel by boat to Tunisia. We will journey from Tunisia, through Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and into South Africa.
