It really was a tough challenge. It was like joining Army bootcamp for a week. I really don't know how they do it. We wouldn't last a week in the real Army. Up at the crack of dawn every day. With just a few hours sleep (they do like a party!). And then on your bike before 7am every day to pedal like fury up what felt like mount Everest. In the rain!! But it was fun. And it really is for a great cause. We met some fantastic people along the way. A lot of them reminding us why we were there in the first place. We are proud that we managed to do it. But have no fear - we won't be knocking on your door anytime soon to sponsor us again!! Thank you .xx
We took part in this madness because we believe that we need to show our wounded servicemen that we appreciate the sacrifices they make in their service to this country. They deserve the best care that money can buy and we hope that by doing this bike ride that we have, with your help, contributed towards this cost.
