Hi,

Ive pledged to raise at least £700 for a charity called Honeypot by running in the BUPA 10km Run. Honeypot exists to enhance the lives of very vulnerable children and young carers aged between 5 and 12, across the UK, by supporting their social development through respite care and a programme of long term support. This includes annual visits to the Honeypot House, regular visits by the Honeypot Playbus to communities where former and future Honeypot children live, plus the Honeypot Club, where the children receive birthday cards and Christmas presents - often the only ones they will receive.

For every £700 raised, this will support a Honeypot child for a whole year – including a one week stay at the Honeypot House, various outings, for example to a theme park, farm and beach, visits from the Honeypot Playbus, a birthday card and Christmas present (probably the only ones they will received this year).  This means so much to so many little lives
