Dear Friends,

On the 16th My I returned form Zambia having completed the Transaid 420km cycle challange from Lusaka to the Vctoria Falls in Livingston. This was the first time a challange like this has been staged in Zambiaand I hope that it will be the first of many.

Traveling through some very remote areas in Zambia we saw first hand how schemes such as the Transaid "Zambulance"  (a stretcher on wheels pulled behind a bicycle ) can really make a difference to a communities miles from the nearest medical centre. 

As a group we haver raised over £90k which will help Transaid continue its very worthwhile work.
