Dear friends and family,

My dad Frank sadly passed away in his sleep last weekend. His sudden death has been a devastating blow to all those around him, especially his family and close circle of friends and colleagues in the oil industry.

We are very touched by all the warm messages and visits that we have received over the past few days. I have set up this page in order for those of you that wish to honour his life to make a donation.

We have chosen the John Muir Trust as Frank's favourite activities were hill walking and fly fishing and his favourite place to do these was Scotland. I know that when he moved back to Aberdeen later in life he was so happy to be close to the hills and his best friends from university days.

Thank you all once again for your warm messages of support. I hope to see some of you soon once the necessary arrangements have been made. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me or my mum.

Adam
