Story

Following from the great success of last year’s sponsored run for the Royal Brompton Hospital, it is time for the Triathlon Challenge on Thursday 8th September 2011!

I will be looking to complete 8 triathlons in one day, one in each of the contracts in the South East Region. I will be raising money for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Standmore, where my friend, colleague and cake baking partner, Sammy Eldridge, is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

Each triathlon will consist of a 1 mile run, 5km bike ride and a 200meter swim. At the end of the day this will be a total of 8 miles ran, 40km cycled and 1 mile swam.  As well as doing each of the triathlons there will be just under 200 miles of travelling from the first site in Basildon Sporting Village to the events final site in Fareham.

As you have probably guessed by now this is going to be a challenge, I will do the hard work so I’m asking you to do the easy bit.... please dig deep and sponsor me!

Much love x
