Many thanks for visiting my page.  After the disappointment of a stomach bug the evening before last year's London marathon making the run somewhat slower than expected, I'm back for more!  I'm running again for Shelter, and this time I'll be running in the Reading half-marathon, the 'Finchley 20' and the 16 mile Kingston Breakfast run in the run up to London.  So you're getting 75 miles of value from 1 marathon!! 

Why Shelter?

Bad housing wrecks the lives of over a million children in Britain, making them sick, unhappy and under-achieve at school.  These children are living in damp, cold, infested housing or on estates that are shamefully neglected and ridden by fear and filth.  They are living at the whim of landlords who threaten their tenants and neglect their houses.  They are living under the cloud of eviction and debt.  Or they are homeless - not on the streets, but in emergency housing waiting for somewhere to live.  Thanks to your sponsorship these children will stand a better chance at living a normal life.
