Keris Dean, the lady you see was one in a million. Sadly she lost her fight with cancer earlier this year. In her final days she was looked after superbly by the Phyliss Tuckwell Hospice and they continue to support her wonderful family.
I was lucky enough to know this amazing person as were many others, as a result I have decided to embark on a rather idiotic challenge in her memory, to raise money for the organisation that cared for her so well.
I am planning to run from London to Brighton in September. This is a one day challenge, requiring completion in 13 hours before the finish line closes. On top of this I will have to self-navigate over the north and south downs, with only a few check points. Luckily I have an equally unstable friend, Mark McCallum who will be joining me. He is running for an equally worthwhile charity, The Chestnut Tree House. A childrens hospice in my home town of Worthing.
Finally, I encourage you to visit our team site for updates on our progress and information on these amazing organisations. Please spread the word as your donations will inspire us to achieve our ambitions and support excellent charities.
