I have been a supporter of Furnistore since 1994, and believe that not only does it provide a vital service to some of the neediest households in East Surrey, but it also makes a significant contribution to reducing the volume of bulky stuff going to waste.  If you care about the environment, this is one charity you should seriously consider supporting!

I want this page not only to raise funds (see below for some ideas as to where your money might go) but also to invite folk to become Friends of Furnistore

Friends are people who will either:
*  make a regular donation of at least £5 per month
*  volunteer to do an evening round once or twice a month
*  run a charity fund-raising event for us
*  come and volunteer in the shop or warehouse on a regular basis

b)    sponsor a tee shirt (£7.93) or hi-viz vest (£8.52) for a volunteer
c)    Keep us warm this winter!  £21 buys a set of thermal underwear and gloves for a volunteer
d)    sponsor a day's work £425 or an evening round £62
e)    cover the cost of inducting and supporting a  new volunteer for £250
f)    It costs £75 to have a registered fitter install and check out a cooker for a needy household
