Story

Freddy is 3 years old and was born weighing only 3lb 8oz. During the 10 weeks he spent in hospital he suffered from a bleed on his brain which resulted in him being diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy. His condition means that his muscles are tight which makes it difficult for him to do simple things like sitting with his legs out front, and walking on his own. However there is a life changing surgery available called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) which will reduce the spasticity in his legs, and as such improve both his mobility and independence. However, this operation will cost approximately £80,000 and Freddy and his family will be travelling to America to have this done.

We will be walking from hospital to hospital covering around 600 miles over a 6 week period.

Please sponsor us as little or as much as you can to make Freddys dream of playing football with his older brother come true!
