I am trying to raise £250.00 in to plant a silver birch tree at Everton's Finch Farm training ground in memory of my mate Fred Highcock with Everton in the community receiving the £250,anyone who knew Fred know's he was a massive Evertonian and would love the idea of planting a tree in his memory,Fred passed away 3 years ago June from the effects of a stroke aged just 56,Wherever you were from didn't matter to Fred if you were a Blue that was good enough for him, he sorted tickets for hundreds of Evertonians from all over the world, I remember him introducing me to two lads who had flew over from Canada but Fred sorted tickets and accomodation for the lads not a problem, if everyone who he sorted tickets for donated just a £1 each we should get £250, Fred is pictured here with his Dad Fred Senior who just before his death was registered as Everton's oldest ever season ticket holder, I think its a great picture, you can see how proud Fred is when he was in his Dad's company, myself and my son Tom are doing a sponsored swim to go towards our target but a simple donation will be more than welcome.
