As some of you will know, a massive team of contributors (Emma Stephany, Claire Leveson, Daisy Bland, Josh Grigg, Tim Archer, Ruth Wright, Mary Edwards, Rachael Bishop, Yuki Yamakado, Freddie Young, Kat Rowley-Conwy, Ben Taylor, Jack Coombes, Megan Russell, Olympia Wereko-Brobby, Jo Orriss, Rory Duncan... to name but a few) are working to put together a small but perfectly formed festival this year: Free Range 2010 (check out www.freerangefestival.org.uk for more info). We will give every penny we can spare from the festival budget (we're aiming for 30% of ticket sales) to Send a Cow.

However, we are SO ENTHUSIASTIC about what Send a Cow do that we want to raise more than that. Everything donated here will go straight to Send a Cow automatically at the end of each week, so there is no risk at all that your cash will be spent on festival revelries...

Each year, Send a Cow helps thousands of families in Africa grow enough food to eat, sell their produce and develop small businesses that last. In turn, these families then pass on young livestock, seeds or training to others. And so on.
