Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have decided to raise money for Help for Heroes because we feel stronlgy about the appalling conditions and lack of support that many British soldiers are facing at the moment. Although I personally don't have any family members or close friends that are in or have been affected greatly by the war on terror, I do watch the news and hear about the consequences on british soldiers.

I don't necessarily agree on Britian being in this war and I know many others don't either but the fact is that they are!  Help for Heroes is doing a lot for wounded and mentally scarred soldiers. At the moment there is not much help for soldiers settling back into civilian life.Their current campaign is aiming to provide wounded soldiers with rehabilitation after they leave hospital. I think thast this is something that wounded soldiers deserve considering they were fighting for our country. I hope you agree!

98p from every £1 in the charities first year was used for grants so you know that anything you donate won't be going in someones pocket.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I'm not a fan of cliches but it's hard to avoid "every little helps".

So come on get your wallet out!! : )
