This year, as part of Save a Baby Month, our annual awareness and fundraising drive, we are launching "A Mile in Memory" and are asking people all over the country to take part in a one-mile sponsored walk on 17th May 2008 in memory of a loved one.

FSID Staff will be participating in a walk starting at our Head Office near Victoria and you are more than welcome to join or sponsor us for our efforts.

London Walk - Saturday 17th May 2008 at 11am

The circular scenic route, which will take in some of the capital's key monuments, will be roughly as follows:

Beginning in St James's park, we will go down to Parliament Square, past Big Ben and over Westminster Bridge. From there we shall walk down the South Bank past the Millennium Eye, Royal Festival Hall and Oxo Tower until we reach Waterloo Bridge. From here we will cross back over the bridge to the north bank. After a quick look at Somerset House we will walk west along Victoria Embankment past Cleopatra's Needle, down Northumberland Road to Trafalgar Square, From there we will make our way back down Whitehall past Downing Street and back to St James's Park.

After the walk there will be a post-walk party either in St James's Park or at our offices nearby.
