I think this touches all of us, and almost everyone can think or 1, 2 or more people (family and friends) that they have lost to cancer.

Our group started out with the singular good idea of getting a specific target to focus all of our weight loss and fitness aspirations on. We could have achieved this in a number of other ways, but the Race for Life's mission resonated more. "For this Cause..." we will channel our fun and fitness towards making our contribution count in the fight against cancer.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
