Welcome to our fundraising page for NNBY, India’s National Network of Buddhist Youth. NNBY was set up by Order Members from the Western Buddhist Order/Trailokya Bauddha Mahasangha, who serve as mentors and friends - but the organisation is run by the youth themselves.
On the full-moon nights of Friday and Saturday December 12th and 13th, over 1,000 people in India - and many more world-wide - sat in ALL-NIGHT MEDITATION to raise funds for NNBY in 2009. Read reports of what happened on FWBO News or Facebook...
We raised well over £1,000, but we're still accepting donations - we are fundraising for NNBY's entire annual budget of £4,500! This will be spent primarily on youth leadership training and NNBY's national and regional conferences - vital annual gatherings for Buddhist youth from all over India.
