In 2015 I was diagnosed and successfully treated for Prostate Cancer. But sadly today, more men than ever before are still dying of Prostate Cancer -we need to help!
So this year I'm doubling up on two great the Prostate Cancer UK challenges:
First, the London to Amsterdam 145-mile Cycle ride on June 1st 2018 with a target of £1,000.
Followed on July 22nd 2018 by The 26-mile Marathon length North London (Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham and Orient) leg of the March for Men, or March to the (Wembley) Arch with a target of £300.
Despite my good fortune Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. This is simply not acceptable but Prostate Cancer UK know that with your help we can turn it around. Time is against us but now is the time to take action, to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
