Charity Golf Challenge · 25 June 2018

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.

The 2018 Captain of Sickleholme GC, Mick McVeigh, has adopted CRY as his captaincy’s charity & so we decided on this unusual challenge to help raise some dosh!
Four of us will attempt to play one hole of 24 different golf courses on Monday 25th June 2018.

This will involve approximately 150 miles of driving between courses in Cheshire, Derbyshire & South Yorkshire. Please give generously to this lifesaving charity!
