Hello and thanks for reading our Just Giving Story!

Helme CE (VA) J & I School is a very small school, just outside Meltham in the beautiful Holme Valley. We have only 135 pupils aged 4-11 on our roll - and we desperately need to buy new laptops for the children.

We’ve been trying to raise the money for over 2 years now, but vandalism and thefts from the school keep eating into our funds.

So, we’ve decided it’s time to think BIG! and see if we can raise £6,000 in just one month!  That’s why our appeal is called 1BigAsk.

This is a one-off appeal - we're never going to do this again.  It's being run by Debbie Whitfield and Lisa Green, both mums at the school.  We’re asking friends, supporters, local businesses and community organisations to pledge the 1BIGGEST amount they can to our 1BigAsk JustGiving page www.justgiving.com/fundraising/1BigAskForHelme and help us reach our target before the end of April.

We want all of our pupils to get the best possible learning journey - in ICT, Maths, English, Topic, Humanities, Science and much, much more!

We know it’s a Big Ask … but please help us reach our 1BigAsk target this April!
