Cardiff Half Marathon 2018 · 7 October 2018 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I'd be really delighted if you could spare £2...  yes £2  for the MS Society.

I'm taking on a two-part challenge.  First, a tough coastal 75 mile race on June 23rd  (starts 5am and must be completed by 5am the next morning) - and unhelpfully includes more than four mountainsworth of total climb! PenLlynUltra.co.uk

Then I plan to convert from long-slow endurance to short and fast when wearing the MS Society colours, running the Cardiff Half marathon in the autumn.

I'd be genuinely delighted to see a lot of small donations of maybe 2 or 3 pounds  rather than a handful tenners.  So be proud (not guilty!) to be seen to be giving a small donation.

To be honest, I'm relishing the challenges.  But I'm very mindful that my lovely Debbie  holds things together whilst I go off for a long weekend running round north west Wales, and then whilst I’m out training for a fast time in Cardiff. And that is a proper challenge.  And for those who don’t know, Debbie is also the Coordinator of the Monmouth & Abergavenny branch of the MS Society – so it would be really satisfying if we could raise some money for the charity – not just for the general support they offer to Debbie and others,  but for the medical research that is making real progress against this disease.

Thanks for reading this far. And thanks if you donate!  :o)
