Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sharon tried so hard to fight through pneumonia and sepsis and we briefly had moments to reflect, cry, support and even laugh with her, but in the end it just too much. Over 4 months we witnessed amazing examples of human kindness, spirit and love, whether it looking after the kids, giving advice or just simply prayers in the low times in this journey.

Above all else were the amazing nurses who showed care and compassion. Without the ECMO we would have not had the brief time with Sharon since falling poorly, it’s an incredible service that can help save many lives. I’d like to give something back.

Other than having to deal with what happened to Sharon and impacts on our wonderful family and friends  running the London marathon will be the biggest challenge I have ever undertaken.

Never forget the memories. RIP Sharon xxx
