When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Story

Aunty June was a fun loving caring person with a great sense of humour. On January 1st 2013 she suffered a very severe stroke which left her needing 24 hour care as she couldn't speak or walk. She somehow managed to keep her sense of humour during this awful time until she passed away on 6th January 2016.

I recorded this song to be played at my Aunty June's funeral and would like to use it to draw attention to the need to raise funds for the Stroke Association so hopefully more research can be done.
