BIG Walkies Sunderland 2016 · 18 September 2016 ·

Across England and Wales, we're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the UK's largest animal welfare charity. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many animals each year and campaign and educate to prevent animal cruelty. The RSPCA is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

Story

Woof! My Name is Brian, and I'm a labradoodle.

I was rescued by the RSPCA from a puppy farm with over 100 other dogs. My life was sad and lonely - I was the stud dog, used as a commodity, kept in a cage and only brought out just to make more puppies.

When I was found, I was the most nervous of the dogs that went to RSPCA South Godstone Animal Centre.

I used to be frightened of all dogs and people. I had no idea how to play, wasn't really interested in food or anything about my life!

That was before Amy and Gareth took me home last year to give me a furever home.

Now they say I'm a different dog. I adore walks, playing with other dogs, cuddles on the sofa, and my favourite squeaky elephant toy.

So many more dogs like me are still stuck in puppy farm living a miserable life - please help me raise money at BIG Walkies Sunderland so the RSPCA can give more dogs and pups a second chance like me.
