Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Mathew and I have decided to run the Dublin half marathon in September in memory of my uncle, Dick O'Rafferty, who sadly passed away in March this year due to a brain tumour.

We have chosen Brain Tumour Research as our charity to help find a cure for brain tumours. Less than 20% of those diagnosed with a brain tumour survive beyond five years compared with an average of 50% across all cancers. So your generosity would mean a lot to us, and it'll help Brain Tumour Research to fund the fight to find a cure.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
