Thanks for taking the time to visit Celestra's JustGiving page.
Last year a team of 30 took part in the Nuclear Rush Race! Having got a taste of all the muddy excitement, this year Celestra are doing it bigger and better!
This year a team of 30 from Celestra will be participating in the 7k and 12k Nuclear Rush Races in Essex on 13th May in aid of Little Lives. The goal is to raise a total of £3000 for this event.
For the last four years, Celestra has been supporting the Little Lives Appeal as its local charity.
The Little Lives Appeal is run under Milton Keynes Health Care charity for the Hospital’s Neonatal Unit that cares for all babies that are born too early (premature) and babies that are unwell after they are born. Some of the babies admitted to the Neonatal Unit are born as early as 24 weeks old - or 16 weeks early - and weighing as little as 500 grams.
More than 350 premature and sick babies are treated in the hospital’s Neonatal Unit every year, but with increasing demand for their services and an increasing population, they need an additional four high-dependency cots as well as extra space to accommodate them.
The Nuclear Rush race is a 7K obstacle course that is fast paced, muddy and wet. It is intended to push participants to have fun and to find their fire behind the mental and physical test they face!
Celestra's team of #muddystars are well underway in their training and gathering donations for such a worthy cause.
Nuclear has warned to expect the unexpected!
