Every now and again I like to go on a journey and this end to end journey, which starts on the 10th September,  is in memory of my Mum who lost her battle with cancer on 7th Feb this year.

Cancer really is the C word. It touches so many people and there is no way of describing what sufferers and there carers go through so, although this journey is in memory of my Mum, it is also a mark of respect to my Dad who cared for her for six years as she fought the disease.

I am sharing this trip with my very good friend Graham Sage and our schedule is best described as demanding. We will keep you all posted via Facebook but hope that as many of you as possible can all give a little so that it adds up to a lot.
