We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me and my sister, Maria, took part in the ArcelorMittal Orbit Abseil for Brain Tumour Research on 12th September 2021. Here is a video of me going down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQqmcos9m8I

As you all know, on the 15th January 2021, I was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). Although I've been keeping everybody as positive as I possibly can, it turned us all upside down.

Now I'm trying to fundraise as much as I can and get more information out there about the terrible disease.

Even with all the donations and the amazing doctors and nurses, we still haven't found a cure. Only 1% of the national spend is allocated to brain cancer research. So we really need all the help we can get to finally beat not only brain cancer but every cancer out there.

On the 17th December, although it can be done any day in December, Brain Tumour Research would like you to wear a Christmas hat and maybe you could upload a photo to social media with the hashtag #WearAChristmasHatDay and tag Brain Tumour Research in the post too.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
