Story

In September 2019  I lost Dalton and my children lost their father to suicide. I am still in shock. My head is swirling of thoughts of how things could have been different, asking how did we get here? I search my dreams for him, only to wake and find a surreal reality without him. My brain can’t process the fact that I can never see or speak to him again. My children growing up without him seems incomprehensible.

Dalton was loved immeasurably by his family and his friends. He was gorgeous and so naturally gifted at everything he did. His death is so sudden and shocking not just to those close to him but to all who knew him.

I have raised an army of runners who are going to run in memory of Dalton, the virtual Derby 10k on the 25th October . Please help us raise awareness and money for the charity CALM, campaign against living miserably.

Since his death I have discovered that 85 men a week take their own life in the UK alone. It is the biggest killer of men under 40. The silent suffering has to STOP. My lifelong campaign against male suicide and pledge to support young people’s mental health starts here.

Donate as much as you can in Dalton’s memory so we might save other daddies, husbands, sons, uncles, brothers, grandads, friends. There has to be another way.
