Story
Having just turned 40 I've decided I want to challenge myself while raising funds and awareness for Shine who do tremendous work.
I was born with Spina Bifida and although most people couldn't tell from looking at me, I am in chronic pain 24/7. With the help of pain relief and some good doctors I lead a fairly normal life day to day, however I know I'm one of the lucky ones. Some days I struggle to walk 100 yards so 13 miles is going to be a real challenge for me. However I want to do this while I can and before age takes over!
On the 20th May I will be attempting to walk part of the Wye Valley and Offa's Dyke Walk from Chepstow to Tintern, over the river and back which is a moderate to difficult trail with many steep hill's and step's.
To support me and get me through this, I have 15 incredible friends and family members joining me. Therefore please donate whatever you can to support us and make this a real success not only for my own personal achievement but for the people Shine support.
