In 2015 we visited the Sustainable Agro Alliance (SAAL) in South India. This inspiring project, which is part of Christian Aid's In Their Lifetime (ITL) programme, gives hundreds of rural farmers the tools to help themselves and lift them out of poverty. With ITL's initial 3-year investment, SAAL is close to the goal of long-term sustainability, but needs one more year of funding first. To do our bit we have decided to run a marathon (Dave) and swim one (Ruth) in aid of SAAL. We have set an ambitious target ... can you help us reach it?
