In January 2017 the picture of me running went viral.  This journey was never mine and never about me.  I got so many positive messages about the inspiration people took from my picture and the joy and achievement that was evident in my face. 

I wanted to do something with the impact this made and something for good and to harness the power of social media for sharing positive stories.  There are far too many negative stories, so to celebrate the positive and bring some benefit from this.

Alzheimers Research UK are partners with Parkrun UK and do amazing work.  My grandma suffered from dementia for 8 years and to see my granny disappear into herself broke my heart. 

So for anyone inspired or touched by my photo I would like to ask if you would consider a £1 donation or less if that's more comfy to capture the impact of the photo and put that into good.

I will be forever grateful for all the amazing messages and support, my journey for my better life wont be a quick one but it will be a joyful one and I would love to share it with you.
