Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

This page has been created in memory of our great friend Dave Johnson who lost his brave battle with brain cancer in January 2022. Our goal is to raise money for the incredible work carried out by Brain Tumour Research in addition to generating increased awareness
of brain tumours and their impact.

Dave left us in January of this year just 6 months after his initial diagnosis. He was 47 years old.

An amazing husband and loving father, Dave’s unassuming and easy going nature was equalled by an underlying passion and determination in everything he put his mind to. One of these passions was music. Listening, writing, performing and recording…, Dave was encyclopaedic in his knowledge of music and gave it his all whether on stage or in the studio. There are so many of us who feel utterly privileged to have performed and recorded alongside such an exceptional individual.

Join us on our journey to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research through the power of music. All in memory of one of life’s true good-guys, Dave Johnson. We miss you!
