It all started 5 years ago when my brother-in-law Kev was diagnosed with bladder and prostate cancer. Kev went through a course of chemo and after 5 years of regular check ups he was given his final CT scan. This scan showed 3 cancerous tumours on Kev's left lung and surrounding lymph nodes. The lung had to be removed asap!! Kev continued with 3 month's of chemo only to be told that the chemo hadn't worked and the cancer had spread to the other lung and surrounding areas. At this stage Kev has been given immunotherapy. This is not offered to everyone with terminal cancer, it is not a cure but may give Kev some extra time with his loved ones.

Kev is always the comedian and he said if you have made someone laugh or smile everyday then you have done a good job.

Kev's advice to anyone with cancer is to stay positive, keep going and never give up.
