 I'm running a marathon!!

At the point of writing this the big day is 2 weeks away, and although my muscles ache from todays run I can't wait to join the thousands of other runners in London.

I couldn't pass up an opportunity to combine this with raising awareness for a charity that is close to my family's heart. Brain Tumour Research seeks to ultimately cure all types of brain cancer through establishing a series of sustainable research centres across the UK.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I've spent many hours training for the big race (even putting in the miles whilst on honeymoon!) and hope to do the charity proud by recording a good time.
