Story

Llynedd fe wnaethon ni (Gareth a Menai) gwblhau cerdded Llwybr Arfordir Cymru ac fe gawsom ni fudd mawr o'r cerdded yn ogystal a chasglu arian ar gyfer Ambiwlans Awyr Cymru, Ty Gobaith a Stand ar gae Rygbi Pwllheli.

Ryden ni yn awr wedi penderfynu cerdded Llwybr Clawdd Offa (tua 180 milltir) yn ystod Haf 2017 ac i godi arian i elusen i'n sbarduno ymlaen.

Mae Awen Davies (46 oed) ein ffrind o Lanbedrog yn dioddef o Parkinsons ac wedi cael sawl llawdriniaeth yn ddiweddar i geisio lleihau effeithiau'r afiechyd creulon yma.  Pasiwyd ein bod felly yn codi arian ar gyfer Parkinsons UK gan obeithio y bydd yn helpu i ariannu  ymchwil i'r afiechyd.

Last year we (Gareth and Menai) completed the Welsh Coastal Path and the walking proved very beneficial and we raised a considerable amount for Welsh Air Ambulance, Hope House and Pwllheli Rugby Club.

We have now decided to walk the Offa's Dyke Path (around 180 miles) during the Summer of 2017 and raising money for charity will encourage us on our trek.

Our friend from Llanbedrog, Awen Davies (46 year old) is suffering from Parkinsons and has recently undergone several operations to reduce the effects of this cruel disease.  We have therefore decided to raise money for Parkinsons UK and hope the money raised will assist with the research.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
