At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.

Story

On the 4th of September I’ll be swimming 10 km (6.21 miles) down the River Dart in Devon. This is swimming’s version of the Marathon in cold water (around 14 degrees).

I’m doing it to raise money for a Paralympic Legacy Charity called Level Water. They make sure that disabled kids get a fair start in sport by providing one-to-one swimming lessons until these children can join mainstream classes. From there they can play safely in the water, experience other watersports ... and maybe go on to be Paralympians themselves.
