Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page - raising money for Scottish Huntington's Association.
Huntington's Disease is a hereditary condition that stops parts of the brain working properly over time. Whilst there are several ongoing medical trials, there is currently no cure or way to stop the disease. More info here:

My mother-in-law sadly died from HD in 2017. My wife, who was the full-time carer to her mother, took the brave decision to be tested shortly after her mum's passing. Unfortunately, she too has inherited the same faulty gene - and will therefore at some point develop HD.
So what do we do? Give up and admit defeat? Nope. We tackle this head on. We do everything we can to raise money for the SHA Charity (https://hdscotland.org) - and do everything we can to find a cure!
Myself and my son Aidan have signed our lives away to the Special Forces Inverse 360 challenge - walking 300km (186 miles) in 360hrs wearing a 45lb (20.41kg) backpack!
The challenge requires walking with the backpack for an average of 20km a day for 15 straight days - whilst also complying with whatever COVID-19's lockdown rules throw at us. We start at 0600hrs on 30/01/2021!
We would love to raise £200 for the worthy charity - and I thank you in advance of any contribution you can make towards that.
