So it started on a drunken night out with my Lovely friend Martyn Williams who is a Velindre Patron. I drunkenly said how I'd love to ride 405km around Canada for such an amazing cause! Once I sobered up I though OMG am I really going to do this! And oh shit, I'm gonna have to wear Lycra in public and stay in hostels!

Yes I am going to do this! So I've lost 5 stone and I'm ready for the ride of my life. For my Uncle Paul who didn't survive cancer, for my Uncle Tony who did survive cancer thanks to Velindre and for friends currently battling with this awful disease. 

My poor husband Mark is sharing this journey with me. We've sponsored ourselves for the minimum sponsorship amount which covers the cost of the trip and also the charity donation to complete the ride - £10,000. Every penny we raise from you goes directly to the charity and in no way pays for any part of our ride - how awesome is that!
