Mummy asked me what I might like for my birthday, and as it has only just been Christmas, there isn't really anything I could think of that I really needed, so we thought it would be really kind to say thank you to the brilliant team who took such good care of my awesome amazing Grandpa in his final 6 weeks at St Richard's Hospice up in Worcester.

He sadly passed away just after we broke up from School on 9th July, and although we knew his time was coming to an end, it was still a very hard thing to accept that we wouldn't be seeing dear Grandpa anymore, but we know that he is where he needs to be.

He was an incredibly intelligent man who ended his career with British Airways as the Senior number 1 flight Engineer on Concorde. When he retired he built himself a flight simulator so he could continue flying around the world from the comfort of his own home!! He was also a very talented artist, watercolours were his speciality. He was always so much fun to be around, we all miss him terribly. Our family motto is "Make it Happen", introduced into our family by Grandpa, so this is what I am trying to do for Grandpa.....

Every year St Richard’s Hospice provides free, expert care and support for over 3,400 patients, their loved ones and the bereaved. This year they need £8.8 million to keep their doors open, so anything you can donate will help, trust me!

Thank you so much for your generosity, I know Grandpa would be so grateful to you for helping the team that helped him in his final days, they really were super stars!
