Jane's COVID-19 Lockdown Marathon in my garden!

Lockdown Marathon · 26 April 2020
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It’s important to me to support St. Richard’s Hospice during the COVID-19 lockdown. They’re struggling to raise much needed money following the postponement of many fundraising events and temporary closure of their charity shops.
I kept it very quiet (NOT!) that I ran the London Marathon for St. Richard’s last year and raised over £3,000. I thought it would be "good fun" to take on the challenge of running 26.2 miles in my garden on what should have been the date for the 40th London Marathon, Sunday 26th April.
As many of you know, I lost my brother Paul to cancer in 2010. He was only 34 years old. St Richard's Hospice were amazing in their care for Paul in his last few weeks and also with the support they provided to our family afterwards. Raising funds for St Richard's is very important to me and my family - it's a way of keeping Paul's memory alive!
Thank you very much for your support xx
