HortAid 2016
Campaign by Perennial - Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society (RCN 1155156 (England & Wales), SC040180 (Scotland))
Our annual fundraising campaign to raise money for current and former UK horticulturists needing help, advice and support.

Story

JPS is a creative and unique landscape design practice based in Poole, Dorset. Over a vast range of both private and commercial projects, we regularly tackle complex challenges including poor drainage, protected trees, steeply sloping sites and harsh coastal conditions.

However, on September 18th 2016 five members of the JPS team (The Muddy Buddies) will be running, jumping, slipping and sliding across a 5K assault course - head to toe in Surrey mud. Perhaps this will be our biggest challenge yet?

The 60+ obstacles which we'll encounter include tyre walls, rope swings, cargo nets, water and numerous other chances to bask in sludge. All entrants are professionals of the Horticulture Industry who aren’t afraid of getting more than just their hands dirty.

The Nuts Challenge aims to raise money to continue supporting and changing the lives of horticulturalists in need. Perennial is the only UK charity devoted to providing help and support for people in difficult circumstances who work in Horticulture. A wide range of free and confidential services are available to these people and their spouses, partners and dependent children.
